Saw Room & Maintenance Technician

Location: Kenosha, WI

Do you have experience in a saw room, maintenance and warehouse role? Do you have a desire to grow in an exciting, teamwork-centered environment while learning about engineered products? If so, this could be a great opportunity for you! SPI has an opening for a Saw Room & Maintenance Technician at our Kenosha, WI facility.

This is a diverse position with a wide variety of responsibilities requiring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. This position serves as a valuable support function for our manufacturing process.

Some of the Saw Room & Maintenance Technician duties include:

  • Maintain Saws & Equipment
  • Check Parts for various requirements
  • Troubleshoot and make repairs
  • Add Tumbler media, load, count and adjust
  • Verify parts match MOM
  • Store Parts
  • Maintenance of Degreaser
  • Operate Fork Lift
  • Handle Material
  • Empty/Load Chips and Scraps
  • Cycle Counts
  • Annual Cleanings of parts & equipment

Salary: $18 - $20 per hour

Required Education/Training:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required

Required Experience:

  • Maintenance experience, preferred

This position requires standing, bending, kneeling, and stooping. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds with assistance. Visual acuity is required to perform work using close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be exposed to environmental factors typical of manufacturing. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses and steel toe shoes. Must be able to safely operate a vehicle.
