Business Development Leader - Dallas/Ft. Worth

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

CSI is looking to hire a high-capacity salesperson for our Business Development Leader position in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You will be responsible to aggressively grow market share among customers within a 60-mile radius of CSI’s Grand Prairie, TX location. Specific customer segments include:

  • Mechanical Contractors and sanitary piping installers
  • OEM and Fabricators
  • Food, Dairy, Beverage and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers
  • Reseller customers

Your sales activities will include:

  • Targeting Contractors, End Users and OEMs in all hygienic industries
  • Developing relationships with prospects, customers, and CSI personnel
  • Speaking into CSI’s sales strategy and value proposition by identifying industry trends, shifts in target markets.
  • Promoting CSI eCommerce usage and speak into development of the store
  • Generating year-over-year incremental growth in the distributed products and pump service categories
  • Developing relationships with prospects, customers, and CSI personnel

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 base (plus commission)

Required Experience:

Education/Training:

  • BS degree, industrial technology or engineering emphasis, preferred

Experience:

  • Equipment sales experience in food and/or pharmaceutical industries
  • Exposure to estimating design and application of process equipment
  • Experience with sales management
  • Proficiency in computer OS and MS Office Suite

Other:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel to customer locations
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid Passport

Standard workday is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. More than 40 hours per week will normally be required in order to achieve the productivity necessary for this position. Overnight travel, Saturday, Sunday and holiday hours will be required. Travel via plane or vehicle may also be required.

This position requires the ability to interact with employees and customers verbally and in writing, remain in a stationary position for 80% of the workday, have close visual acuity, and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a phone, copy/fax/scan machine, computer keyboard and mouse with or without reasonable accommodation. This position also requires the ability to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and lift product, materials, and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
