CSI is looking to hire an analytical and people-oriented individual for the Electrician position. You will be responsible for designing and installing electrical for food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical processing skids and managing the install of the electrical portion of the build form start to finish, when required. this includes meeting with Engineering and Project Managers in assisting with development of scope, designing and bidding of potential projects as well as assistance and support of shop crews.

Good organization, excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills for corresponding with co-workers are a must. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and occasionally outside subcontractors.

Salary: $25 - $36 per hour, depending on experience

Required Skills:

Education/Training:

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• +1 or more years of recent, full-time, paid, journey-level experience in the electrical trade
• Valid driver’s license
• Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and/or database

Required Experience:

Experience:

• Industrial electrical installation of conduit and wiring up to 480V 3-phase, including;
• PLC control system wiring -
• Discrete, analog, AS-I, Devicenet and Profibus.
• VFD’s and 480V 3-phase motors.
• Installation of conduit and wiring in hazardous classified locations.
• Computer proficiency
• Electrical CAD design experience desirable
• Project management experience desirable

Persons in this position may be exposed to temperature extremes both hot and cold, dust, and noise. This position may also require lifting of heavy objects during truck loading and unloading or equipment placement. Must wear respirators, safety harnesses and other safety devices as required by the customer.

More than 40 hours per week will normally be required in order to achieve the productivity necessary for this position. Overnight travel, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday hours may be required.
