Order Processor-Customer Service

Location: Ceres, CA

Job Summary:
CSI is seeking an organized and customer-focused individual for the Order Processor-Customer Service position. The ideal candidate will support CSI customers and sales staff by handling tasks related to customer requests for information, order processing, and customer account management. This role requires attention to detail and strong communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and effective coordination with sales teams.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
- Understand the philosophy of setting up new customer accounts promptly
- Maintain daily data integrity
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Convert quotes to customer orders daily
- Update and communicate on all open orders regularly
- Maintain customer accounts and records in the ERP system daily
- Collaborate with sales for customer interactions, including quotes and orders
- File documents in the DMS daily
- Coordinate with vendors for purchasing and expediting drop ship goods
- Handle special logistic needs as required by customers daily
- Support sales efforts by questioning and qualifying prospects daily
- Ensure proper handling of return goods

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college credits desired
- Technical (mechanical) emphasis preferred

Experience:
- Professional telephone etiquette required
- Computer proficiency required
- Excellent MS Office experience preferred; CRM experience preferred

Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per week occasionally
- Occasional overnight travel, weekend, and holiday hours may be required
- Ability to interact effectively verbally and in writing
- Capability to remain stationary for 80% of the workday
- Comfortable with operating office equipment and a computer
- Ability to occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and handle office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds
